May Day Jig

Open air dancing is a big May Day tradition, so this is a good opportunity to hold a knees-up and embarrass the kids with your Balloo bear wiggle.

The Maypole cake's eaten, the May cup's drunk, the fairy lights are shining enticingly on the patio - now's the time to rifle through your old record collection and recapture those old boogie nights. Everyone gets to choose their favourite dance tracks (we love Candi Staton's 'Young Hearts Run Free' and 'I Like What You're Doing To Me' by Carla Thomas), then dance 'til the sun comes down. Or up, for those with stamina.
