You've probably taken photographs of your children blowing out candles on their birthday since the age of one. Dig them out - you'll need them to make this birthday board. Get a cork board or picture frame and arrange the pictures on it - you can pin or whitetac them on, depending on the surface you're using. You'll have images of your child from the age of zero upwards - it's fascinating to see their hairdos (and other changes) over the years! Hang it up for the birthday boy or girl for a week or so, then put it away safely until next year.
If you don't have enough old pictures, you can make a visual diary of your child's year instead. Use photos you've taken since their last birthday (on holidays, trips, sports day etc) - it makes them feel very special and brings back happy memories of everything they've achieved. |
